Guerrilla Blogs is an experimental interdisciplinary workshop aiming to actively forge novel intersections between art and philosophy in order to bushwhack new radical routes of invasion and escape upon the scene. Interdisciplinary not in the sense of eradicating all borders to bring everything closer together in a great transparent peaceful coexistence, thus fulfilling society’s ultimate utopian dream, but in the sense of the refraction that occurs as light (or thought) passes from one medium to the next, bringing forth groundbreaking and unforeseen mestizo creations. For this reason we will abrasively cross from sociology and religion to architectonics and political economy, from metaphysics and science to literature and heresy, from archeology and psychology to the exhumed and the exile, from the real and the societal to simulacra and the barbarian.
Blogs are a perfect platform for an experiment in this direction since they lack the oppressive group force demanding conformity in online forums and allow for a particular blog or blogger’s individuality, without at the same time fueling the rampant narcissism that defines social media such as twitter and Facebook.
This will be a hands on experiment and a participative audience will be appreciated. New projects will be announced soon so check back again in a few days.
