About

Guerrilla Blogs is an experimental interdisciplinary workshop aiming to actively forge novel intersections between art and philosophy in order to bushwhack new radical routes of invasion and escape upon the scene. Interdisciplinary not in the sense of eradicating all borders to bring everything closer together in a great transparent peaceful coexistence, thus fulfilling society’s ultimate utopian dream, but in the sense of the refraction that occurs as light (or thought) passes from one medium to the next, bringing forth groundbreaking and unforeseen mestizo creations. For this reason we will abrasively cross from sociology and religion to architectonics and political economy, from metaphysics and science to literature and heresy, from archeology and psychology to the exhumed and the exile, from the real and the societal to simulacra and the barbarian.

Blogs are a perfect platform for an experiment in this direction since they lack the oppressive group force demanding conformity in online forums and allow for a particular blog or blogger’s individuality, without at the same time fueling the rampant narcissism that defines social media such as twitter and Facebook.

This will be a hands on experiment and a participative audience will be appreciated. New projects will be announced soon so check back again in a few days.

  1. Alternative Description

Guerrilla Concepts is an experimental interdisciplinary workshop aiming to forge novel intersections between art and philosophy in order to bushwhack new radical accelerationist routes of invasion and escape upon the scene. Interdisciplinary in the sense of the refraction that occurs as light (or thought) passes from one medium to the next, bringing forth groundbreaking and unforeseen mestizo creations. Therefore, also extradisciplinary. For this reason we will abrasively cross from sociology and religion to architectonics and political economy, from metaphysics and science to literature and heresy, from archeology and psychology to the exhumed and the exile, from the real and the societal to simulacra and the barbarian.

The Guerrilla Blogs Project brings Guerrilla Concepts to a new audience, and opens up new ways of experimentation and proliferation for these subversive concepts. This will be a hands on experiment and a participative audience will be appreciated and encouraged. New projects will be announced from time to time, so check back again soon.

  2. alter. dscript.

Guerrilla Concepts is an experimental interdisciplinary approach seeking to actively forge novel intersections between philosophy and art. The aim is to simultaneously point the way to a more self aware art that can reinvent its own instinctual urge to create away from the dumbed down world of mere entertainment, as well as unground the tamed yet arrogant philosophy of a complacent and comfort-seeking academia, forcefully thrusting it towards and beyond the last horizons of the thinkable, where consciousness splinters in an eternal strife against itself.

The Guerrilla Blogs workshop brings Guerrilla Concepts to a new audience in an attempt to open up radical new ways of experimentation and proliferation for these subversive principles. Therefore, we will abrasively cross from and cut through sociology and religion to architectonics and political economy, from metaphysics and science to literature and heresy, from archeology and psychology to the exhumed and the exile, from the real and the societal to simulacra and the barbarian…

  3. de-script.

Guerrilla Concepts is an experimental interdisciplinary approach seeking to conceptualize, forge, and release new invasive vectors upon the scene, capable of constantly and autonomously multiplying and mutating while resisting any and all attempts at assimilation and domestication.

This requires a radical vulnerability for these principles, one that permits them to wither away and die as soon as they are approached with the intention to subdue and put them to use in the service of the societal and the metaphysical, along with their resulting three-headed Cerberean offspring, the political, the economical, and the philosophical (the humanities).

Every vector of invasion is simultaneously also a route of escape. And so, the capacity to come undone is already inherent in any invasive principle that has not yet been coupled with survivalist and preservationist agendas.
